Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser
Snapping his global escapades
A globe-trotting, snap-happy travel reporter from Airdrie brought a little piece of the world to his home town in 2002.
John Sheridan (centre) was preparing for the opening of his first charity photography exhibition at Airdrie Arts Centre.
National radio presenters Gordon Cassells ( left) and Dave Marshall are pictured supporting John in the August 28, 2002, Advertiser.
John, who provided travel information to radio stations throughout the country, said: “As a travel writer and broadcaster I often find myself in some weird and interesting places and without the luxury of a photographer.
“I decided to record the events on film for publications I was writing for.”
