XACT support hospice
Monklands good cause XACT is among those lending support to the Advertiser’s readers’room appeal to help St Andrew’s Hospice.
Last month we launched our campaign to raise funds for the construction of one of the new single rooms at the hospice, which is currently under refurbishment, in support of its £9 million capital appeal.
XACT, meaning Ex-Airdrie & Coatbridge Tablers, is made up of local volunteers who are all former members of Airdrie & Coatbridge Round Table.
Group chairperson Norbert Grant, of Chapelhall, said:“We were delighted to accept the invitation to attend the launch and show the group’s support.
“The hospice is such a worthy local cause; it’s been in Airdrie for 30 years and it’s a cause which we hope to continue to support for another 30 years.”
