Tenants opinions are required

Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser - - News -

Council tenants have until Wednesday to complete a North Lanarkshire survey on opportunities to participate and have their say on housing.

Officials are looking for views to shape a participation support contract, to empower and help those who wish to become more involved in consultations.

Business engagement manager David Baxter said: “It will play a key role in helping people get involved in scrutiny and consultations, and could include considering how rent is spent, or asking views on proposed policies.

“Tenant participation is a priority for us; involvement is fundamental to delivering an excellent service.”

The survey can be completed at www.northlan.gov.uk/TPSupportContract, or by calling 01698 274556 where staff can complete it over or arrange for a paper copy to be posted.
