There was a hint of horror and monstrous mayhem in the air for youngsters at an Airdrie primary school.
The P5 and P6 pupils at St Mary’s Primary, Caldercruix were transformed into a colourful assembly of characters for their Hallowe’en parade held at the school’s Drumfin Avenue joint campus, to celebrate the spooky season.
The freakish event featured ghosts, ghouls and zombies of all descriptions, horror movie characters, as well as wicked witches and werewolves, cheerleaders with the Invisible man also putting in an appearance.
Class teacher Catrina McKenzie said: “The children and parents made a great effort with all the freaky costumes for this year’s wonderful Halloween parade.”
And the kids are pictured having a spookily good time at their recent fun event.
