Chance to cel­e­brate Scot­land’s her­itage

His­toric En­vi­ron­ment Scot­land is set to roll out the red car­pet to vis­i­tors this St An­drew’s Day week­end with tick­ets to iconic her­itage sites across La­nark­shire up for grabs.

As part of the cel­e­bra­tions for Scot­land’s Year of His­tory, Her­itage and Ar­chae­ol­ogy, thou­sands of free tick­ets – valid for the St An­drew’s Day week­end of Satur­day, Novem­ber 25 and Sun­day, Novem­ber 26 – will be re­leased on­line.

More than 30 top vis­i­tor at­trac­tions across the coun­try will be open­ing their doors to of­fer peo­ple the op­por­tu­nity to ex­plore the build­ings that have helped shape Scot­land’s story over the cen­turies.

Those in­ter­ested in tak­ing ad­van­tage of the of­fer have un­til Fri­day, Novem­ber 24, to reg­is­ter.

There is no limit on the num­ber of par­tic­i­pat­ing at­trac­tions vis­i­tors can ap­ply to at­tend, but early reg­is­tra­tion is en­cour­aged to avoid dis­ap­point­ment.
