Lanarkshire fans of The Proclaimers don’t need to worry about walking 500 miles to see the Scots brothers perform this year, as their tour will stop off in Motherwell.

The twins are bringing their UK and Ireland tour to Motherwell Concert Hall on Thursday, December 13.

The Proclaimers confirmed the dates on their website and wrote: “We are absolutely delighted to confirm 39 UK concerts on top of summer festival appearances already announced.“

The gig quickly sold out, with fans snapping up the tickets in a matter of hours.
