● WOOD­SIDE STREET, COAT­BRIDGE. The road is shut from its junction with A89 Bank Street to its junction with Al­lan Street un­til mid­night on April 15. SP En­ergy Net­works and Coneworx Ltd are car­ry­ing out elec­tri­cal util­ity works at the rail­way bridge, but pedes­trian ac­cess will be “main­tained at all times”. There are di­ver­sions on South Cir­cu­lar Road, Bank Street, Whif­flet Street and School Street. ● CHURCH STREET, COAT­BRIDGE. Low-im­pact work is be­ing car­ried out at the town cen­tre street from now un­til May 31. ● SOUTH COMMONHEAD AV­ENUE, AIR­DRIE. Car­riage­way patch­ing works by Amey will see the road shut, from Mill Road un­til mid­night on April 13. This is in force when sign­posted and mo­torists can use Chapel Street, East High Street, North Bridge Street and Com­mon­side Street as al­ter­na­tive routes. ● GLEN­BOIG ROAD, COAT­BRIDGE. The road will be shut from the B804 Johnston Road for 350m, from 8am to 6pm on Mon­day for drainage works. All ve­hi­cles are to be pro­hib­ited ex­cept works traf­fic, but pedes­trian ac­cess to the route will be main­tained at all times. The di­ver­sion is via Johnston, Lochend and Drum­cavel Roads. ● HOLMS PLACE, GARTCOSH. Be­tween Queens­bank Av­enue and Wood­lands Av­enue is clos­ing from 8am next Wednesday, April 11, un­til 8pm on April 15 for ca­bling works by Scot­tish Power. This clo­sure ap­plies when sign­posted and ap­plies to all ve­hi­cles. Mo­torists can use di­ver­sions on Southview Place. ● BRUCE STREET, PLAINS. A clo­sure will af­fect the road be­tween Liv­ingston Drive and the A89 Main Street for a dis­tance of 200m from mid­night on Mon­day un­til the same time next Fri­day, April 13. This is to al­low for the com­ple­tion of car­riage­way resur­fac­ing works by Amey on be­half of the coun­cil. Ve­hi­cle ac­cess will be“per­mit­ted, where prac­ti­cal”and di­ver­sions in place on nearby Bal­lochnie Drive, An­nieshill View, Mead­ow­head Road and Stan­rigg Street. ● WOODBURN AV­ENUE, CAIRNHILL. The coun­cil’s low-im­pact works will be in place on the ground ad­ja­cent to Woodburn Av­enue over the next few weeks. ● PETERS­BURN ROAD, PETERS­BURN. Due to on­go­ing work by the coun­cil, medium-im­pact works will af­fect the whole street over the next few weeks; email road­workscon­trol@ north­lan.gov.uk for fur­ther in­for­ma­tion. ● CALDERIGG PLACE, CRAIGNEUK. From Torrance Av­enue to Bankhead Av­enue will ex­pe­ri­ence low-im­pact road­works un­til to­mor­row. ● SUM­MER­HILL AND GARNGIBBOCK ROAD, AIR­DRIE. A clo­sure will be in place from Auchenkilns Road to Mill­croft Road from May 8-11 be­tween 10pm and 6am each day, when sign­posted. This is re­quired for rail bridge works by Amco to take place; an al­ter­na­tive route for traf­fic will be avail­able via Chapel­ton Road, Myvot Road and the B802 at Con­dor­rat Road. ● DYKEHEAD ROAD, AIR­DRIE. Pole re­place­ment works by BT will re­sult in a clo­sure, from Bal­lochney Road to Dal­ma­coul­ter Road. The clo­sure will be in place for 24 hours from mid­night on May 17, when sign­posted. ● PLEAKNOWE CRES­CENT, MOODIESBURN. From Cas­tle Gar­dens to“a point 80m south”of the same street is to close be­tween 8am on April 17 and 6pm the fol­low­ing evening. Car­riage­way resur­fac­ing work is be­ing im­ple­mented and pedes­trian ac­cess will be in place. Al­ter­na­tive routes will be avail­able on Bridge­burn Drive and Cas­tle Gar­dens. ● STA­TION ROAD, MUIRHEAD. High-im­pact works by or­gan­i­sa­tion SGN are on­go­ing at the junction with Lily­bank Av­enue to out­side prop­erty num­ber 24 over the next month.
