● WOODSIDE STREET, COATBRIDGE. The road is shut from its junction with A89 Bank Street to its junction with Allan Street until midnight on April 15. SP Energy Networks and Coneworx Ltd are carrying out electrical utility works at the railway bridge, but pedestrian access will be “maintained at all times”. There are diversions on South Circular Road, Bank Street, Whifflet Street and School Street. ● CHURCH STREET, COATBRIDGE. Low-impact work is being carried out at the town centre street from now until May 31. ● SOUTH COMMONHEAD AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Carriageway patching works by Amey will see the road shut, from Mill Road until midnight on April 13. This is in force when signposted and motorists can use Chapel Street, East High Street, North Bridge Street and Commonside Street as alternative routes. ● GLENBOIG ROAD, COATBRIDGE. The road will be shut from the B804 Johnston Road for 350m, from 8am to 6pm on Monday for drainage works. All vehicles are to be prohibited except works traffic, but pedestrian access to the route will be maintained at all times. The diversion is via Johnston, Lochend and Drumcavel Roads. ● HOLMS PLACE, GARTCOSH. Between Queensbank Avenue and Woodlands Avenue is closing from 8am next Wednesday, April 11, until 8pm on April 15 for cabling works by Scottish Power. This closure applies when signposted and applies to all vehicles. Motorists can use diversions on Southview Place. ● BRUCE STREET, PLAINS. A closure will affect the road between Livingston Drive and the A89 Main Street for a distance of 200m from midnight on Monday until the same time next Friday, April 13. This is to allow for the completion of carriageway resurfacing works by Amey on behalf of the council. Vehicle access will be“permitted, where practical”and diversions in place on nearby Ballochnie Drive, Annieshill View, Meadowhead Road and Stanrigg Street. ● WOODBURN AVENUE, CAIRNHILL. The council’s low-impact works will be in place on the ground adjacent to Woodburn Avenue over the next few weeks. ● PETERSBURN ROAD, PETERSBURN. Due to ongoing work by the council, medium-impact works will affect the whole street over the next few weeks; email roadworkscontrol@ northlan.gov.uk for further information. ● CALDERIGG PLACE, CRAIGNEUK. From Torrance Avenue to Bankhead Avenue will experience low-impact roadworks until tomorrow. ● SUMMERHILL AND GARNGIBBOCK ROAD, AIRDRIE. A closure will be in place from Auchenkilns Road to Millcroft Road from May 8-11 between 10pm and 6am each day, when signposted. This is required for rail bridge works by Amco to take place; an alternative route for traffic will be available via Chapelton Road, Myvot Road and the B802 at Condorrat Road. ● DYKEHEAD ROAD, AIRDRIE. Pole replacement works by BT will result in a closure, from Ballochney Road to Dalmacoulter Road. The closure will be in place for 24 hours from midnight on May 17, when signposted. ● PLEAKNOWE CRESCENT, MOODIESBURN. From Castle Gardens to“a point 80m south”of the same street is to close between 8am on April 17 and 6pm the following evening. Carriageway resurfacing work is being implemented and pedestrian access will be in place. Alternative routes will be available on Bridgeburn Drive and Castle Gardens. ● STATION ROAD, MUIRHEAD. High-impact works by organisation SGN are ongoing at the junction with Lilybank Avenue to outside property number 24 over the next month.
