Backing small business and supporting the high street

-

Scotland is getting ready to open for business and we’re here to help you get the message out to customers saying #IAmOpen.

This has been an unprecedented time for everyone, and its impact is being felt across everyone’s lives, no matter who you are, where you are, or what you do.

We know some of those most affected are in the local business community, and we want to help you in any way we can.

You’re the lifeblood of your towns and cities, both as service providers and employers, and we must do all we can to support you.

Your local newspaper is with you all the way and we will be using all our resources to help local shops and services tell their communities they’re back in business.

So let us know how you are planning to serve your community and customers in these extraordinary times.

With trading restrictions changing every day, consumers are confused as to what businesses are allowed or not allowed to trade.

The #IAmOpen campaign helps support local businesses to market themselves effectively in challenging conditions with free services and low cost options, letting businesses tell their local communities on their status.

Each week thousands of local people read our newspapers and log into our websites and social media platforms to find out about the important things happening close to them.

And earlier this week thousands of people joined our social media twitter ‘power hour’when we retweeted local businesses to help them reach our vast audience.

Your local newspaper is determined to help boost the local economy so communities can get back to business and we’re right behind you, helping you all the way.

We will be using all our resources and offering a host of free and added value services to help get your business back on track.

This includes exclusive marketing advice, offers, networking and participation in future Reach #IAmOpen events.
