CCTV ap­peal af­ter at­tack

PO­LICE of­fi­cers are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion af­ter a staff mem­ber was ver­bally abused and punched at a take­away in Yate­ley.

Hamp­shire Con­stab­u­lary has re­leased a CCTV image show­ing a man they would like to speak to as he may be able to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion fol­low­ing the at­tack at Yate­ley Ke­babs in Read­ing Road shortly af­ter 8pm on July 6.

The man pic­tured was not hurt and is de­scribed as white, 35 to 45 years old, around 5ft 4ins tall, with dark brown short hair.

He was wear­ing a light T-shirt with logo and writ­ing on the front and dark knee length shorts.

Any­one who may have in­for­ma­tion about this in­ci­dent is asked to con­tact PC Ti­mothy Phillips at Yate­ley Po­lice sta­tion on 101, quot­ing 44140240138 or ring Crimestop­pers char­ity anony­mously on 0800 555 111.
