One resident, though, was given “fire survival advice” by the service’s control room and firefighte­rs at the scene after they were initially unable to exit. Pictures from the scene show a large presence of emergency services tackling the fire, as well as severe damage to the burnt out building in the aftermath of the incident. A Facebook post from Fleet Fire Station described the “clearly distressin­g scene” in detail.
