Shady character
ANYONE after an exotic looking climber to grow against a shady wall could do worse than seek out Pileostegia viburnoides. I’ve just planted one in a gloomy spot behind a large loquat tree and can’t wait to see its sprays of white summer flowers once established. The only problem with this climber is it’s painfully slow growing so I might be waiting some time for a show.
