Raymond Blanc to launch garden school
Top chef Raymond Blanc is set to share the secrets of his famous organic kitchen garden.
Raymond’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons will launch the Raymond Blanc Gardening School – said to be the first school in a hotel that’s dedicated to horticulture.
The Michelin-starred eatery is famous for its two acre vegetable and herb gardens, which produce 90 types of vegetable and 70 herbs.
A spokesman said: “The school will impart insider tips and expert advice. It will appeal to those with a keen interest in things botanical, or seasoned professionals.” Initial courses include seasonal veg growing, micro greens, understanding your soil and organic growing.
Day courses run from July to October, with prices starting at £185. Call 01844 278881 or visit belmond.com/le-manoir-aux-quatsaisons-oxfordshire/ for details.
