Our monster pineapple lily

Amateur Gardening - - Your Letters - Doreen Waenock, Solihull, West Midlands

I WAS interested in the recent piece by Martin Cox on pineapple lilies.

Ours is known as the monster plant and certainly lives up to the name. It has survived quite severe winter weather with minimal protection but it’s positioned close to the house wall. It is now so big, I think it may be time to split the group!

Doreen’s eucomis loves its spot by the house wall
