Camp­sis ‘In­dian Sum­mer’

The lush fo­liage and un­usual, ef­fer­ves­cent showy blooms of Camp­sis ‘In­dian Sum­mer’ might look ex­otic but these climb­ing plants are easy to grow in a warm shel­tered spot of the gar­den. Vig­or­ous with­out be­ing in­va­sive, make this gor­geous climber the workhorse of your sum­mer dis­plays and colour walls, fences or per­go­las in trop­i­cal shades of apri­cot and orange from late spring right through to au­tumn. Large num­bers of trum­pet shaped blooms up to 18cms/3” in di­am­e­ter with deep orange and red in­te­ri­ors will bring the sun­shine flood­ing into your gar­den. Trum­pet Creeper plants will cope with dry con­di­tions and clay soils too. Height and spread: 1.5m (5ft). Despatched as Gar­den Ready 2 litre pot­ted plants in Septem­ber.
