Lily beetle deterrent

Amateur Gardening - - Gardening Week -

Scarlet lily beetles are pretty to look at but are increasingly a scourge of lilies, crown imperials and fritillaries. This latest product from eco-company Grazers deters the beetle from landing on its food plants and is safe for use around children and pets. Spray it on vulnerable plants as they start to shoot every 7-10 days from March onwards. It coats the leaves and repels lily beetles so they go elsewhere to feed and lay eggs. (RTU spray £6.99 for 750ml; concentrate £9.99 for 350ml).
