Sony sets its sights on the top spot

Sony has re­vealed its am­bi­tious plans to be the top brand in the over­all cam­era mar­ket by the end of 2020. To do this, Sony says it will ex­pand its lens busi­ness and tar­get pro­fes­sional users. In 2017, the com­pany had a 20% share in the still-cam­era mar­ket, be­hind cam­era giants Canon and Nikon.
