■ JAMES HUT­TON had a su­per catch from a New For­est Wa­ter Park lake topped by this 40 lb 6 oz com­mon carp. Bournemouth, Dorset-based James of­fered a CC Moore Cit­rus Zest pop-up over Live Sys­tem, Odyssey XXX, pel­lets and corn adding three other carp to 33 lb.

■ DAVIES AN­GLING man­ager David Ma­gal­haes notched up his third 40 from dif­fer­ent lakes since June with this 41 lb 4 oz com­mon carp from Berk­shire’s Hor­ton Boat Pool, just a cou­ple of miles from his shop. The Sur­rey-based 36-year-old carper of­fered Nash Scopex Squid boilies.

■ TED BRYAN hadn’t fished for a while, due to his an­nual fam­ily camp­ing trip, but made amends on his re­turn with this 42 lb mir­ror carp, called Ted’s Baby Brown. Ash­ford, Kent-based Ted leg­ered Mad Baits Wicked Whites boilies, and also added two 28-pounders.
