Switching stems

Anglers Mail - - Front Page -

I prefer using sensitive, wire-stem pole floats for fishing shallow, as they cock themselves, giving better on-the-drop presentation. However, after a successful session, the wire stem is invariably bent out of shape and almost impossible to get straight again. Is there any way of fixing this problem?
