What’s being caught? I featured this venue just a few weeks ago, but the bream sport in the early pegs in the woods has been so good it has to get another mention. In the recent Open match, pegs 1 to 10 produced three 60 lb bags, two 50s, a big 40 and two 30s, 35 lb being only good enough for eighth place in the ten pegs! Well worth a trip before the weather gets too cold. Tactics? Long-range groundbait feeder with casters and chopped worm, using worms or maggots on the hook, for the best sport.
