What’s be­ing caught? Bream, skim­mers, roach, perch and ide. Bream and skim­mer bags to 35 lb with mixed bags to 20 lb of smaller fish.

Tac­tics? Ground­bait feeder with nat­u­ral baits such as chopped worm and cast­ers pro­duc­ing the best bags, but Method feeder also catch­ing a few. Long pole with mag­got, cast­ers and worms over ground­bait for mixed bags of all species.

What’s be­ing caught? Both top ponds pro­duc­ing the most con­sis­tent sport, with carp, F1s, bream, ide, cru­cians, tench, roach, perch and rudd mak­ing up the bulk of the catches. De­spite the cold spell, 35 lb-plus won a re­cent win­ter league match, with good back­ing weights.

Tac­tics? Long pole and feeder with pel­lets for the bet­ter carp, or with chopped worm and cast­ers for mixed bags. Short pole with mag­gots or cast­ers for plenty of small fish ac­tion.
