IF YOU’RE a brolly or a shelter fan you are going to love the new Titan Hide from Nash.
Set to sell very well, it’s quick to erect, rigid and lightweight, and when the weather really ramps up, it’s super-stable, report Nash. The Hide’s shape creates a down force as air passes over it, pinning it to the ground, so it stays put rather than lifting up.
It packs down to 44 in. and weighs just 4.6 kg, making it a great shortsession option. You can fit storm poles, but you’re unlikely to need them. I like the extended cut storm panels, which offer a little bit more protection, and also the curved front ribs will help protect against driving rain.
It’s made using a
5,000 mm Hydrostatic Head-rated 420D PU nylon, and it’s been designed with a flat back, to position your bedchair up against for maximum space inside.
Nash also offer an overwrap that’ll extend the usable room, as well as providing extra insulation and help reduce condensation, and a waterproof infill ‘storm panel’, which zips onto the front to convert it into a full bivvy. There’s also a zip-in full mozzi mesh front panel available, and a fitted, heavy duty groundsheet, plus some ‘fast fit’ storm pole adaptors, which lock over the front ribs. The Titan Hide is going to prove extremely popular.
