HOW IT WORKS

Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

The weight (one or several shot) is fished hard on the bottom holding the hookbait overdepth The float is tightened down to the weight so only the tip shows and when a fish takes the bait the weight is lifted and the float rises Depending on the exact nature of the bite the float may lay flat on the surface. Now strike! Equally, the float may just sail away as the fish rushes off with the bait in its mouth. Strike!
