HE largest carp ever to swim in Bri­tish wa­ters has been banked at 64lb or­gan­i­sa­tion’s next meet­ing.

The fish, which was stocked into the syn­di­cate wa­ter be­tween New­bury and Read­ing at about 12lb in the mid-1990s has been caught a hand­ful of times since its record-breaking ap­pear­ance and this cap­ture marks rep­re­sents its sec­ond-high­est weight.

South Coast an­gler Matt spiced up his free of­fer­ings by coat­ing the boilies in CC Moore Liq­uid Krill Ex­tract, plus the firm’s pow­dered green-lipped mus­sel and Krill Meal, and pre­sented a bot­tom bait over the top.
