HE largest carp ever to swim in British waters has been banked at 64lb organisation’s next meeting.
The fish, which was stocked into the syndicate water between Newbury and Reading at about 12lb in the mid-1990s has been caught a handful of times since its record-breaking appearance and this capture marks represents its second-highest weight.
South Coast angler Matt spiced up his free offerings by coating the boilies in CC Moore Liquid Krill Extract, plus the firm’s powdered green-lipped mussel and Krill Meal, and presented a bottom bait over the top.
