Carper can’t resist lure of a big bream

STEVE Swan changed tactics halfway through his session to bank this 16lb 4oz bream.

While targeting carp at Norfolk’s Bawburgh Fisheries, he noticed a group of big bream rolling above a silt hole.

“I decided to bait the area and get back down there in the same swim later that night,” Steve said.

“I positioned my lighter rods over the baited area and the fish struck a few hours later.”

Steve fished Korum grub feeders with fake maggots on the hair over a bed of casters and maggots for his new pb.
