Cat­fish to nearly 80lb have been show­ing on Scar­ley Mere. An­glers are catch­ing them on popped-up squid boilies and big hal­ibut pel­lets fished over PVA bags of pel­lets. The Main Lake is pro­duc­ing tench to over 5lb on pel­lets, while pop-ups or sur­face fish­ing is ac­count­ing for plenty of carp av­er­ag­ing 15lb.
