Corn trips up a big patrolling common carp
SPOTTING, stalking and catching a carp in the margins is one of the greatest feats in angling – and that’s exactly what Sam Tittensor managed to do on a recent session with this immaculate 21lb 4oz common carp.
The 15-year-old picked out a couple of fish on his local club pit and cast a rig tipped with two grains of sweetcorn next to where they were patrolling.
Luckily for Sam he only had to wait a few minutes before this lovely dark fish engulfed the bait.
Well done Sam!
