AT this Winkleigh complex carp to 30lb in Lodge and Beatties Lakes have been showing to Krill and Cell boilies, corn and pellet.
On Woodpecker Pool carp are up in the water and on to the pellet waggler line – 100lb weights are possible, including tench, roach and bream to maggot and worm on the pole. In open matches on Tanner’s Lake anglers have been taking up to 150lb mixed bags on pellet hookbaits.
Popular methods include the bomb fished short at 11m and the pellet waggler into open water. Expect carp to 10lb but don’t be surprised if the odd big bream shows too.
