THE post-match raf­fle raised £320, mak­ing the to­tal raised in the two re­cent char­ity matches here to a mas­sive £670 for Alzheimer’s Re­search.

Top man on the fish­ing front was John Harper with 14-12-0 from peg 7 at Sher­ratts, where he fished long pole and wag­gler with mag­got for a net of roach, skim­mers and perch.

Sec­ond went to Har­vey Clapham with 12-4-0 of roach and a 2lb perch taken on wag­gler and mag­got and pole and worm from peg 8 on the Mu­nic­i­pal sec­tion. DREN­NAN COORS AC CHAR­ITY (SUN) River Trent, Bur­ton-on-Trent (68 pegs)
