Bream to best of 11lb 12oz go on night feed
PERFECT conditions gave Andy Wilson an inkling that the big bream would feed at his local water, and that hunch was spot on as he banked seven doubles to a best of 11lb 12oz.
A large bed of homemade groundbait laced with seeds was introduced over the top of a gravel bar 40 yards out before his flavoured corn and maize hookbaits were cast over the top.
His first indication came at dusk, after which Andy got regular runs throughout the night.
“I felt that the sudden drop in temperature could switch them on to the feed, and thankfully that was the case,” explained Andy.
