Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

THE idea is that the rig is lowered in and the weight of the bulk pulls the line through the middle of the float. The depth I am fishing at is determined by how high or low I have the pole top to a maximum of 16ins if I let the float hit the top two stops.

If I want to fish even deeper I can move the stops up a couple more inches so that I can cover more water. The top two stops aren’t really needed, but I have noticed some fisheries insist on their use so I always have them on the line as they don’t do any harm.
