Two metres long – but how heavy?

THIS huge catfish measuring well over two metres long gave its captor a fight he will never forget.

Radical and Black Cat test angler Johann Troppacher was fishing the River Po in Northern Italy when he woke to a screaming alarm at 5.45 am.

He was fishing to some snags at around 350m from the bank, so he jumped into his boat and battle commenced.

Johann hung on for dear life as the giant moggy made for the vegetation. Its lunges were so powerful that he had to free the line twice from trees on the waterline.
