BRICKHILL FARM FISHERY, EYDON, NORTHANTS

-

THIS hidden gem of a fishery has two pools set in the idyllic Northamptonshire countryside.

Both are stocked with a good mix of tench, bream, perch, roach and rudd as well as a good scattering of crucians, commons, mirrors, koi and grass carp.

The average stamp of fish is around 3lb, and good mixed bags can be caught on a variety of baits and tactics.

The pole is probably the most productive, though, and at this time of year you can feed plenty of bait close in and expect plenty of bites.

“Brickhill is known locally for its huge head of monster perch, with rumours of fish to a whopping 6lb a possibility”

The Bottom Pool has an island which is great for targeting on the bomb or feeder if you fancy a more relaxed fishing session.

Brickhill is also known locally for its huge head of monster perch, with rumours of fish to a whopping 6lb a possibility.
