PICK THE RIGHT KIT FOR LONG CHUCKS

Angling Times (UK) - - STEVE RINGER: STILLWATER SECRETS -

LONG-range feeder fishing is all about making things easy for yourself. I don’t want to be breaking my back (or rod), I want to be hitting the spot comfortably every time.

Recently I have taken to using specially designed rocket feeders for my distance work at places like Ferry Meadows.

I now carry these in sizes from 30g-50g, although the 50g feeders are for what I would term ‘extreme’ conditions.

The beauty of a rocket is that because it is bottom-heavy it cuts straight through the wind and flies that bit further than a standard feeder.
