THE Covey Canal Lakes have again been fish­ing their socks off, with an­glers tak­ing well over 100lb of fish in re­cent matches. As a re­sult of ris­ing wa­ter tem­per­a­tures the carp, F1s and ide have been com­ing shal­low and fall­ing to caster and pel­let in open wa­ter and next to the is­lands.
