SIMON PARRY: Record Rudd

Angling Times (UK) - - 50 GREATEST CATCHES -

BIG rudd are rare in the UK, so it’s not surprising that – just like the record roach – Britain’s largest rudd was caught from a stillwater in Northern Ireland. The captor, Simon Parry, caught the impressive 4lb 10oz fish from Clay Lake, County Armagh, back in 2001 and nobody has come close to beating the mark in the 15 years that have passed since.
