TOMMY’S TOP FIVE BREAM TIPS
Choose a fishmeal-based groundbait on waters that see pellets – and sweet, cereal mixes on those that don’t.
Use a big feeder for the first hour to get some bait in. Then go down to a smaller one.
Don’t hold the rod – use a back rest and wait for a proper bite to materialise.
Take lots of dendrobaena worms. Bream love them!
Monofilament line is fine for bream. Only use braid if you need to cast long distances.
