As the name suggests, Old Carp is by far the oldest lake on site and the largest, at four acres. Over the years this tranquil water has matured and is now surrounded by dense trees – to give you a secluded and intimate experience. There are several small islands and bays to target, and with plenty of carp to 30lb and catfish to 50lb available, you’re certainly in the right place for breaking a personal best. Due to the unique layout you can pretty well catch off any peg here, with scummy and overgrown areas favoured for the catfish. You can catch these on chicken livers, luncheon meat, dead maggots and halibut pellets, whereas the carp are currently taking a liking to CC Moore boilies in Odyssey and Pacific Tuna varieties.
