Respect for others
THERE are plenty of reasons I love angling, one of the most pleasing being the respect fishermen have for each other.
I recently prebaited a stretch of my local river, and while doing it one evening I bumped into another angler who started chatting to me.
Days later I went down to my spot to finally wet a line and saw the same angler.
He had pitched up about 100 yards away from where I was and told me he would never dream of hijacking my spot and cashing in on my hard work.
Such respect is commendable and makes me proud to be an angler. Dan Moores, email
