BLUNDELL’S FISHERY, WARRINGTON, CHESHIRE
YOU don’t have to be a match angler to enjoy a day’s fishing at Blundells Fishery.
With two pleasure lakes, the Cheshire venue is a great choice for those looking for a relaxing session with plenty of bites this weekend.
Both the pleasure pools, Oak and Willow, have been in fine form of late with some big catches reported.
The beauty of these pools is that neither is just about carp, as they both contain plenty of other species including ide, tench, bream and roach to name just a few.
Venue owner John Blundell says that a variety of methods are working on the lakes at the moment, but fishing in the margins with pellets is producing more bites than most other tactics. Carp and bream are also being caught on the Method feeder with squashed pellets, and some anglers have also enjoyed catches of over 100lb fishing caster shallow at around 12m out.
