No trespassing carp!

Angling Times (UK) - - YOUR FISHING WEEK -

I’VE fished a few estate lakes over the years but I do have one gripe with them in the modern era.

These lakes are supposed to be home to species such as bream, tench and crucians, but more and more of them are being rammed full or carp.

There are thousands of carp puddles in the land, so why spoil something unique with them?

Estate lakes have a traditional feel about them, and the stocking policy needs to fall in line to reflect this. Thurston Binns, Leominster
