Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

If you see a carp jump or stick its head out of the water, reel in one of your rods and cast to the spot. It’s a great tactic at any time of year, but especially in late summer and autumn. Often a single hookbait is all that’s needed, so don’t sacrifice casting distance by attaching a PVA bag, which will reduce the rig’s aerodynamics.
