FRYERNING’S A-TEAM IN 36-HOUR FLURRY
Three named fish for a 127lb total
ALAST-gasp 48-pounder helped Pete Everett to land three fish for a combined weight of 127lb in a 36-hour session.
The 37-year-old snared a trio of A-Team members from Fryerning Fisheries’ Main Lake in Essex, topped by the large common known as the Mommon at 48lb.
He also caught No Name at 41lb 4oz and Charlie’s Mate at 37lb 12oz.
The regional training manager said: “These were new personal bests, and all the fish were stunning. I was blown away with the looks and condition of them.
“I caught the Mommon just minutes before packing up after chucking a bait on top of a showing fish!”
Pete, who is also a part-time charter boat skipper from nearby Benfleet, had been fishing just 30 yards out to a reed-lined bay.
He baited regularly with a scattering of homemade boilies and presented a matching hookbait over the top at the popular syndicate venue.
The Mommon – top of the bill at exactly 48lb.
No Name came out at 41lb 4oz.
