Your Letters on the week’s news
WE are narrowboat owners who would like to fish on our travels.
We know that the Canal & River Trust has sections of the canal network, and other groups also have rights to stretches.
We have found a list of who owns what but often these people are uncontactable and we can’t always get to a nearby tackle shop to find out if day tickets are available from a bailiff, or whether we are able to fish from our boat.
Why there is not a roving licence covering all areas for us boaters who are passing through?
Or should I risk it and poach like others I often see? Steven Edis, email
