The mighty Ijssel once again hosted Brits and Dutch anglers for this six-day marathon, and at the end of it one man recorded a perfect 60 point section score to take the £1,000 first prize, Tri-Cast Calder’s Steve Michaels led the way, second going to Delcac man Kevin Dyer on 59 points, Kevin got the nod by virtue of having a better dropped result than Kev Humphreys in third, who also scored 59. Kevin took the best weight of the week, 71-14-0 of bream, barbel, roach and ide, using groundbait feeder with worm and maggot.
Result: 1 S Michaels, Tri-Cast Calder, 60pts; 2 K Dyer, Preston Innovations Delcac, 59 (better dropped score); 3 K Humphreys, Daiwa Angling Direct, 59; 4 G Hubbard, Daiwa Angling Direct, 58 (better dropped score); 5 B Kluunhann, Zwolle, 58.
