I AM think­ing of chang­ing to eyed hooks. Can you tell me the best way to tie them to give me the best pre­sen­ta­tion?

THE best knot for ty­ing an eyed hook is the knot­less knot, which is a very clean and easy way of fish­ing with eyed hooks and one that gives you the op­tion of us­ing a hair-rig too.

Pop­u­lar with carp and com­mer­cial fish­ery an­glers, as the name sug­gests there’s no ac­tual knot in­volved and so no ob­vi­ous weak point – what’s more it can be tied with any size hook and strength of line.
