Q Would you use Krill boilies all year round or should I consider a switch?
A I will be using Sticky Manilla boilies between December and March only.
Q Would you use hemp oil through the winter?
A I don’t use any oils in winter as they don’t leak off in cold water.
Q I’m thinking of trying to make some boilies myself and was wondering where to start, ingredients-wise?
A It’s best to buy a proper base mix from a good company and then experiment with flavours, dyes and sweeteners.
Q Any suggestions for liquids to store plastic baits in?
A I’ve always found Hinders Betalin to be a good glug.
Q Would you use two highquality boilies to as free offerings or stick to just the one flavour for the session?
A I tend to stick to one. Nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation, but I always think they’ll have a preference for one of them and I’d prefer not to overcomplicate matters.
Q Any tips for fishing Par Fishery in Essex?
A They love floating baits in there. Good old-fashioned hemp and tigers are also good.
Q Can the knot you use when tying zigs cause line twist with the Fox Zig Alignas? What your approach?
A The knot shouldn’t cause line twist. I use a lead clip and a tail rubber with an anti-tangle sleeve at front. That’s all I seem to need to keep the rig tangle-free.
Adam opts to ditch the oils in winter.
