Thorpe Lea is back on song
DAY-ticket water Thorpe Lea Fishery, in Surrey, has reopened after a KHV outbreak.
The fishery was shut for two weeks after initial reports of high levels of ammonia in the water. Tests proved the cause to be Koi Herpes Virus, and ‘a small number of fish to 10lb’ were lost.
The venue is now back up and running and once more producing multiple catches. Jay Hicks (above) was one of the anglers to cash in with 27 fish in 48 hours.
