RE­CENT stock­ings of F1 ghost carp have drawn an­glers to Brad­shaw Hall, and with match weights top­ping 90lb you’ll need to get to the fish­ery early to grab a peg! Lakes 8 and 9 are in form with 60lb-80lb nets of F1s, small carp, bar­bel and ide.

The top tac­tics have been banded caster shal­low in open wa­ter and worm or mag­got up to the is­lands, far bank or mar­gins late in the ses­sion.

On Lake 4, 30lb bags of ide are show­ing to caster and worm shal­low on the pole. The key is to feed caster via a cat­a­pult or pole pot ev­ery put-in to keep the fish com­pet­ing.
