BRADSHAW HALL FISHERY, BOLTON, LANCS
RECENT stockings of F1 ghost carp have drawn anglers to Bradshaw Hall, and with match weights topping 90lb you’ll need to get to the fishery early to grab a peg! Lakes 8 and 9 are in form with 60lb-80lb nets of F1s, small carp, barbel and ide.
The top tactics have been banded caster shallow in open water and worm or maggot up to the islands, far bank or margins late in the session.
On Lake 4, 30lb bags of ide are showing to caster and worm shallow on the pole. The key is to feed caster via a catapult or pole pot every put-in to keep the fish competing.
If you are after a nice bag of F1 ghost carp be sure to ask the fishery owner which lakes are the best to target at the moment, as they can be caught from all over the complex.
