IT’S still pos­si­ble to catch well on com­mer­cial carp fish­eries de­spite the colder weather.

The same spots that you’ve been fish­ing through­out the sum­mer will con­tinue to pro­duce – but you will def­i­nitely need to re­fine your ap­proach at this time of year.

Less feed, lighter rigs and smaller hooks plus a bit of thought when it comes to de­cid­ing where to fish in the swim will help to stack the odds in your favour.

It’s also handy not to get too fix­ated on catch­ing carp and noth­ing else.
