Cresta rock­ets are a bril­liant pat­tern when you want a quick re­lease of bait from the feeder.

This year they are pretty much the only ones I used on my favourite bream wa­ter, Ferry Mead­ows. I re­ally like the way they cast.

That said, I find the Crestas are best at up to around 65m. For any­thing over that dis­tance I switch to Ma­trix feeers as the long, ta­pered lead at the base re­ally gets you more dis­tance.

I carry them mainly in the medium size in weights from 30g to 50g.
